Beauty Tip Tuesday #4

Olive Oil

Taking off makeup can be the biggest pain in the butt after a long day when all you want to do is crawl into bed and be asleep as soon as possible.  If your under the age of 21, you may be able to get away with passing out with your makeup on occasionally.  However, if Jesse and the Rippers means something to you, you're old enough to know better.  You gotta take off that makeup at the end of the day.

There are a ton of micellar waters coming on the market after the success of Bioderma and as a result, there are endless options to get the job done.  But, sometimes the best option is the simplest.  I've found that olive oil is an amazing makeup remover.  I used to use a mix of olive and castor oils as my cleanser but my curiosity got the best of me and I wanted to try something new.  One thing didn't change though.  I still use olive oil to remove my makeup.  It can get every trace of annoying, waterproof product.  It isn't drying but also doesn't break me out.  You just take a tablespoon or so and massage it into a dry face.  Wipe off with a damp washcloth and you're ready to move on to your cleanser.

Do you have a favorite makeup remover?

    1. I'm glad you like it! It might feel a little weird slathering oil on your face at first but it really works!

Thank you for the comment! I really appreciate it :)
